This office building was designed to house the headquarters of a pharmaceutical company and is comprised of three above the ground and two underground floors. The offices, the meeting rooms, a restaurant, a canteen and a library are situated on the above the ground floors, while the underground spaces serve mainly for parking and auxiliary uses. A large area of the first basement is occupied by a multi-purpose hall that can be used as either a single large hall or three smaller ones.

The shape of the plot, the building code restrictions, and the existence of pine trees rows on the site determined the form of the building which is a single elongated rectangular volume, with minor projections and recesses along its length. The building is organized into two wings with two entrances and three service cores (stairs – elevators – restrooms).  In order to meet the company’s demands, the interior was divided into a large number of offices and meeting rooms of diverse sizes, through the use of a 7.40m column grid on the long side of the building. Offices and meeting rooms are accommodated in a minimum width of 3.70m.
To ensure affluent natural lighting and uninhibited views of the exterior, large surfaces of glazing were installed on all elevations. Sun shading was achieved mainly through stainless steel meshes, specially selected so as to reduce direct sunlight incidence by approximately 60% and at the same time to allow for uninterrupted views of the surrounding landscape.
